Who is the Antichrist?

God's word is the only authority and cannot be disputed. However, man has always been notorius for challenging the truths of God, but in the end God always wins. At the end of this discussion, we will compare what God has to say about the antichrist as opposed to man's own church dogma.

The false heralded coming of the antichrist has always been associated with the second coming of Christ. Deception and a play on emotions are the foremost key players in the breeding of mass hysteria.

In the Christian era, deception as to the coming back of Christ dates back to the destruction of Jerusalem, A.D. 70. From that point on, date setters have predicted the coming of Christ countless times to no avail. For the love of filthy lucre and the total control over the people, they have terrorized men and women to the point of selling all that they had and waited for the Lord.

The trusted Jewish historian Josephus, had this to say about the deceivers concerning the coming of Christ just before the destruction of Jerusalem.

Wars of the Jews, book 6, chapter 5,sec. 2 & 3.

"A false prophet was the occasion of these people's destruction, who had made a public proclamation in the city that very day, that God commanded them to get upon the temple, and that there they should receive miraculous signs of their deliverance. Now there was then a great number of false prophets suborned by the tyrants to impose on the people, who denounced this to them, that they should wait for deliverance from God. and this was in order to keep them from deserting, and that they might be buoyed up above fear and care by such hopes. Now a man that is in adversity does easily comply with such promises; for when such a seducer makes him believe that he shall be delivered from those miseries which oppress him, then it is as the patient is full of hopes of such his deliverance.

Thus were the miserable people persuaded by these deceivers, and such as belied God himself; while they did not attend nor give credit to the signs that were so evident, and did so plainly foretell their future desolation, but, like men infatuated, without either eyes to see or minds to consider, did not regard the denunciations that God made to them.."

In his book entitled "Millions Now Living Will Never die", 1920, by J. F. Rutherford, he states that in 1925 millions now living will never die, page 97. He announced that the worthies of the old world would be resurrected and the beginning of reconstruction. This prompted many people in the State of Kansas to sell all of their belongings and spread white sheets upon haystacks and waited for the Lord. The Jehovah's Witnesses have failed on every date they predicted and will continue to fail in the future.

2 Tim 3:13 "But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived."

Satan's rewards are evil for evil. Here we notice that deceivers are easily deceived themselves. Just how are they deceived?

2 Th 2:10-12 "And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved......And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:.....That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness."

It is quite obvious that there is pleasure in deception especially when the fat letters keep coming in. We often think how can a man read the easy understandable scripture and not see it. It is very simple, God has given him a little help.

2 Tim 3:16 "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:"

1 John 2:18, 22 "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time......Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son."

John tells us that even now there are many antichrists. He is a liar and antichrist who denies the Father and that Jesus is the Christ. Based on God's definition of antichrist, how many antichrists are there in the world now?

1 John 4:3 "And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world."

John is saying the same thing that there is even now antichrist who deny that Jesus Christ came in the flesh. How many antichrist are there in the world now?

2 John 1:7 "For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist."

Who are deceivers and antichrist who are entered into the world? Those who deny that Jesus Christ came in the flesh.

These four scriptures are the only ones in the new testament that relate and define who is antichrist. You will never see or hear the deceivers quote these verses.

Man's untruth:

Through the ages man has identified certain men as antichrist, the latest being Adolf Hitler. Since Hitler did not work out, deceivers have not yet put their finger on anyone, but he will be a great orator deceiving the people.

Others teach and believe that the antichrist will be some great nation or powerful oligarchy subverting nations to their will.

The origin of deception:

1 Tim 2:14 "And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression."

Satan conceived deception in the very beginning and the paralysis of it has doomed many men.

Who are the antichrist in this world today?

Jews who do not believe in Christ as the Son of God; Muslims who do not believe that Jesus is the Christ; any other religion or person who does not believe that Jesus Christ came in the flesh.

Final question:

Who do I believe? God or the deceivers? Who do you believe?
