INTRODUCTION
It is not my intent to rehash "Heart-Soul-Spirit" by the same author, but I will use many of the references contained in it. God willing, we will look at other aspects of the spirit of man and how it relates to the Godhead. Also we will endeavor to see the relationship and communication of our spirit with Satan. Some valuable lessons can be learned from James 4:7, wherein James states that if we resist the devil he will flee from us.
Every living soul that God has created has within it a spirit, heart, mind, and body (flesh.) God is the author of record keeping no matter how extensive, whether of man or the universe. So man must have an identity in order for God to pull down his chart.
Too many times we think of Satan as only the tempter, but he is highly organized with a staff that would make our total number of government employees look insignificant. Contrary to popular belief, Satan no longer has the power of death, Heb.2:14. However, he is the god of this world, 11Cor.4:4; he does have the power to escalate sin, thereby causing pain, misery and death upon the earth.
As the greatest psychologist to advance evil the world has ever known or will know, Satan is the master intimidator and his skills are implemented worldwide. Herr Goebbles of Hitler's Third Reich learned the media propaganda skills needed to dupe the people of Germany from Satan. He has no written code of conduct or guidelines for evil, but he has a formula for each situation to destroy man. You might say that if plan "A" fails, then go to plan "B", etc. Given the lust of the eye, the lust of the flesh, and the pride of life, Satan's strategy is pretty much the same to everyone regardless of his stature in life. We know this by observing the methods implemented to destroy others. The plan is always identical even though those who use it do not know any of the others. Education is not a factor for one to be highly skilled in the devices of Satan.
We say that what we do not know does not hurt us. There is some truth to that and if we did know just what goes on in the spirit world, it would most likely be terrifying.
The Lord willing, I will do my best with his help to present this study according to truth and not my opinion. Any good bible teacher should know that he will give an answer for the things he has taught and for sure will receive the greater damnation if they be false, James 3:1. Amen.
